EVERIDO (18) closed off strongly last start to get up for second, beaten 1.5 lengths, over 5f87yards at Canberra Acton when fresh from a break. Will drift back but wind up late. Best form puts him right in this. ACHESON (17) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 5f21yards at Moruya, beaten 3.5 lengths into eighth. Meeting a deeper field this time but he is good enough to play a major role. INTERVARSITY (1) was a winner in a at this track then was competitive last time when fourth over 6¾f in the LR Mona Lisa Stakes at Wyong, beaten only 0.8 lengths. Has the pace to be in a prominent position from the outset. Will give backers a great sight. OCCHIATA (11) met with solid support last time out but could only manage to finish sixth over 6½f at Goulburn in a disappointing performance. Going up a level this time but she cannot be ruled out.
