ALABAMA STATE (15) was well fancied when resuming last start and proved too strong, scoring by 1.5 lengths over 5½f at Hawkesbury. Fitter for that last hitout and happy to have him on top. SILENTSAR (2) showed good early dash and raced on the speed last start before fading to finish 3 lengths back in fourth over 6¼f at Canterbury. Expected to be in this for a long way. LOVERO (3) stuck on well when resuming last start to finish third over 5½f at Warwick Farm after showing good early speed. Worth noting Jason Collett goes aboard. Taking on a better line-up this time but she has the ability to mix it with them. MONTE KATE (10) returned from a lay-off three-and-a-half weeks ago when she was beaten 3.5 lengths into fourth over 5½f at Warwick Farm. Strips fitter and can figure in the finish.
