CHAVORIO (1) finished 6 lengths adrift in fifth at Port Hedland over 6½f at her latest appearance. Only has a small field to contend with and is sure to prove tough to beat. JACKEMJAMES (3) was well fancied when resuming last start and proved too strong, scoring by a long neck over 6f at Port Hedland. Open to plenty of improvement and another big run will not surprise. COMPAK (2) finished 3.5 lengths adrift in fourth at Port Hedland over 6f at his latest appearance. These small fields can throw up surprises so he cannot be ruled out.
