SOUTHAVEN (8) produced a nice effort on debut in better company last start over 6½f at this track when second, beaten 1.3 lengths. Has a wide gate to overcome but he should pay to follow. THE DARK SIDE (9) is a two-start maiden who was close to a win before a three-and-a-half months break, finishing off with a minor placing at Doomben. Can pick up where he left off. Bold showing expected. PEAKING TOM (3) was beaten just a nose last start and landed his first top-three finish in the process over this track and trip. Has taken a while to hit form and poses a serious threat again. LITTLE TOWN FLASH (14) is a two-start maiden who resumed from a lay-off last start and was beaten 5.5 lengths when seventh over 5¼f at this track. Bold showing expected with added fitness this time.
