PENMAN (4) is back after a break of six months. Started the last campaign impressively when in the placings over 5½f at this track. Has found a suitable race. GILBERT'S GOLD (2) went to the paddock after scoring at his last appearance four-and-a-half months ago over 6f at this track. One of the genuine hopes in the race. PRETTY SLICK (1) fought on well for third last start over 6f at Yeppoon, making it two minor placings in a row. Form here at the trip is sound with two wins and six minor placings from nine runs. One of the main contenders. CALL ME MARILYN (3) proved too strong two runs ago but couldn't follow that up last time out when fifth over 6f at this track, beaten 3.5 lengths. In the mix.
