PAINTED TO BE QUICK (2) turned in a fair effort at Lone Star Park (Dirt) over 1f180yards at her last run five months ago, finishing fifth and beaten 2 lengths. One of the genuine hopes in the race. COWBOY HEARTBREAK (1) finished third over 1f180yards at Listed level at Lone Star Park (Dirt) at his most recent appearance on November 9. Strong chance to kick the campaign off on the right note. RP BARRACUDA DASH (4) has not appeared since he finished second over 1½f at Fair Meadows (Dirt) on July 19. Makes plenty of appeal. FLYIN ON THE TURNPIKE (3) is a promising type who scored at her last run before a break four-and-a-half months ago over 1f80yards at Will Rogers Downs (Dirt). Has never missed the frame when fresh from a lay-off in two starts. Should park just off the speed. Must be respected.
