JIMMY SLICE (5) missed the placings two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 5½f at this track, beaten 7 lengths after being in the firing line on the turn. Finds a suitable race and can figure in the finish. OUR MOON PIE (7) is usually thereabouts but finds it hard to win, with only one victory from 10 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when fourth over 5½f at this track, beaten 9 lengths. Likely contender with strong prospects. WAR HAWK (1) spoiled a good run of form last start when sixth over 6½f at this track (Dirt). Kevin Roman goes aboard this time. Has the pace to be in a prominent position from the outset. Will give backers a great sight. BIG BRAVE OKIE (2) was prominent at the turn and finished second last start over 6f at this track (Dirt), beaten 1.5 lengths. Should be cherry-ripe. Sure to be thereabouts.
