ZIM'S TRANS AM (1) produced a nice effort on debut in better company last start over 5½f at this track (Dirt) when third, beaten 5 lengths. Likely improver so he should pay to follow. CHEROKEE WILL (4) was in the firing line on the turn and finished second last time over 5½f at this track (Dirt), beaten 4.5 lengths. Stepping up a level this time but on his best form he is one of the key runners. SMILING TIME (6) ran below expectations last time at this track (Dirt), finishing ninth and beaten 25 lengths. Deserves another chance.
