Expecting a bold showing. GUNFLASH (6) settled towards the rear and failed to come on in the straight last start when fifth, beaten 7 lengths, over this course and distance. Has the class to take this out. AMERICAN XPERIMENT (4) has found the frame at both starts this prep, the latest when second over 5f at this track (Turf). Has a solid record at the third run in so a big run is likely. GENERAL SHIPMAN (1) is a progressive three-year-old colt who resumes from a break of ten weeks, his last appearance being a win over 6½f at this track (Dirt). Has never been out of the placings when resuming from two tries. Should be poised just off the lead. Deserves respect on best figures.
