Has a decent record at this trip with three minor placings from four tries and should prove tough to beat. AMERICAN COALMINER (10) showed good speed here last time over 1m and led into the straight before being claimed and fading to finish fourth, beaten 2.2.5 lengths. Will give a sight. HALAGA (6) started favourite last time but found one better over 5f at this track (Turf). Will appreciate the extra ground. Among the chances.
