FIREBALL BIRDIE (3) went forward last start over 6f at this track (Dirt) and held on well for second, beaten 2 lengths. Has his share of talent. Hard to beat in this suitable race. BIG CITY (2) is a three-year-old colt who is having his first run for the H Ray Ashford Jr barn. Resumes after filling a minor placing at his latest outing four months ago at Gulfstream Park (Dirt). Not seen at the trials but looks nicely placed. Should feature in the finish. TEN DAYS LATER (4) comes here off a break of six months. Worth noting he filled a minor placing when returning from a lay-off last prep over 1m1/2f at Churchill Downs. Now under the care of new trainer Ingrid Mason. Can make his presence felt. TIBURON (5) resumes from a lay-off of six months and is having his first outing under new trainer Dick Cappellucci. Finished sixth at Woodbine over 7f at the opening run last time in work.
