LA ROJA (5) rallied in the concluding stages to score by 0. Lay-off. Big chance make it two on end. HOOLIGAN TOMMY (1) has scored at his last two starts, most recently by 1.5 lengths over 1m at Gosford. That continued the good form this campaign, with four wins and two minor placings from eight runs. Sure to go well again. IN SUMMER (6) bounced back last start and scored by a long neck when she gave away a big start on the bend as favourite over 1m1 1/4f at Newcastle. Needs to be at her best to beat this field but she deserves plenty of thought. JOHNNY THE KID (8) returned from a lay-off two weeks ago when he was beaten 6 lengths into sixth over 6½f at this track. Fitter this time will prove harder to beat.
