Fitter for a recent trial win at Goulburn. Has found a suitable race to kick off the campaign. SAVVY HALLIE (3) got off the mark when resuming from a lay-off over 4½f at Newcastle last start, scoring by 5.5 lengths. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Jay Ford was in the saddle on that occasion and retains the ride. Must be respected now that the penny has dropped.
