SIR REMLAP (10) is racing well this time in work, including a last start win over 5½f at Scone to bring up two wins from three runs in the campaign. Will find this much tougher but can measure up. SCOPICS (2) was allowed to drift back from an outside draw last time but found the line strongly to finish fourth, beaten 0.7 lengths, over 6¼f at Randwick Kensington. Sure to prove tough to stop. SHROPSHIRE LAD (14) was an impressive maiden winner last time out, scoring by 2.5 lengths over 5½f at Scone. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Drawn well close to the inside and he is one of the main chances. CAMBAR (4) is a promising galloper who kept his unbeaten record intact last start when resuming over 5½f at Rosehill, making it three victories. Kept fresh for this assignment and expected to measure up again.
