GALLANT STAR (6) started at 17/2 last time and ran below expectations, finishing sixth and beaten 4 lengths in The Kosciuszko at this track over 6f. Has the class to figure prominently. CAVALIER CHARLES (4) was below his best last time when 14th over 6f in The Kosciuszko at this track, beaten 10 lengths. Beautifully placed and is sure to take plenty of stopping. THE FACE (2) showed good early pace over 6f at Port Macquarie last time and kept going to score by 1.75 lengths. Finds a tougher race but he has the talent to test this line-up. ELSON BOY (3) missed the placings when resuming two runs back then didn't do any better last start when 7 lengths away in ninth over 6f at this track. Worth noting Chelsea Hillier goes aboard. Well placed to turn things around.
