PIPPIE BEACH (5) is coming along nicely this prep. Finished fourth when fresh from a lay-off two starts back at Warwick Farm then improved and scored over 6½f at Rosehill a week ago, getting home by a nose after being prominent at the bend. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. ZARROSE (2) finished sixth in the G3 Tibbie Stakes at Newcastle over this distance last time out. Has a fine winning strike-rate over this journey with four wins from five starts. Significant class drop this time. Among the leading chances this field. Multiple Group 3 placegetter FRENCH ENDEAVOUR (1) was in the firing line on the turn and finished second last start at the first run back from a lay-off over 6½f at Warwick Farm, beaten a neck. Placed to advantage and can run a bold race. TERRESTAR (6) resumed two weeks ago over 6½f at Warwick Farm and was only beaten 1.5 lengths into fourth. Likely improver with top-three prospects.
