CATAHOULA (7) was out of the money when resuming from a lay-off last start over 6f at Sandown-Lakeside, beaten 3 lengths. Has been in the money at each second up start. Finds a tougher race but a better run will not surprise. ASTAPOR (5) showed good early dash before weakening to be beaten 6 lengths into sixth over 6f in the G3 HDF McNeil Stakes at Caulfield last time out. Will find this much easier. Sure to be there at the finish. EPIC PROPORTIONS (2) returned from a break last start and raced on the speed before kicking strongly to score by 1.5 lengths over 5f at Kembla Grange. Bold showing expected again. GUNDY GUY (3) is progressing well this campaign, landing the prize by a head last time out over 6f at Wagga. Well placed to feature in the finish again.
