ROCK EMPIRE (5) battled on well to hold second last start over 7f at Warwick Farm, beaten 0.7 lengths when resuming. Nicely placed to feature in the finish. GROUNDRUSH (4) was fresh from a break of five months last start when beaten 2.5 lengths into fourth over 6f at Sandown-Lakeside after he got a long way back in the run. Yet to miss the placings at this trip. Sure to be about the money. MAD DEEL (8) has filled a minor placing at both runs this time in work, most recently when second over 6¼f at Canterbury. Cannot be overlooked. GETAFIX (12) finished fourth last start over 6½f at Rosehill after racing on the pace for much of the way. Can figure in the finish.
