JOHNNY THE KID (1) is yet to break through after five career starts. Could only manage to finish fourth last time out over 7f at Warwick Farm following a minor placing at this track over 5¾f the run prior. Finds a nice race and gets the chance to break through. WEXFORD MISS (6) turned in a nice effort last time out at the second run of the campaign and finished just 1.75 lengths from the winner in second over 7f at Newcastle. Meets a stronger field but she is worth serious consideration. NOVEMBER AIR (7) improved last start when third, beaten 1.3 lengths, over 6½f at Hawkesbury. Speedy beginner who can overcome the wide stall. Takes on a tougher assignment but is capable of featuring. LE CHOCOLAT (2) finished 2.5 lengths away in sixth at his last appearance over 6½f at Hawkesbury on August 22. Should be about the money.
