TARPAULIN (1) broke through for his maiden win over 6f at Warwick Farm last time, scoring comfortably. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Looks well placed and he looks certain to measure up again. SAKIMA (5) returned from a break last start and drifted well back before closing powerfully to score over 5½f at Randwick Kensington, getting home by one length. Will prove tough to hold out again. PRIDE TO FOLLOW (7) scored last start at Muswellbrook to make it two wins from two starts this campaign. Meets a much tougher line-up this time but shapes as one to consider. LUTETIA (6) raced on the pace over 6f at Newcastle on debut last start and went on to win by 1.3 lengths. Will find this tougher but can figure in the finish.
