PURE ALPHA (10) scored by 1.2 lengths last start at Randwick Kensington over this distance after he was prominent at the bend. Has a strong record at this trip, scoring two times from three starts. Should be poised just off the lead. Will prove tough to beat. RHAPSODY CHIC (9) made it back-to-back wins when successful last start over 6½f at Sandown-Hillside, getting home by 1.3 lengths. Needs to be at his best to beat this field but he deserves plenty of thought. HIDE YOUR HEART (13) settled well back last start and never threatened when 7 lengths from the winner in seventh over 6½f at Rosehill. Has her share of talent. Hard to beat in this suitable race. UNTIL VALHALLA (15) turned in a much better effort last time out to score by 3 lengths over 7f at Randwick Kensington. Finds a suitable race and can play a major role again.
