Has further improvement to come and is the one they have to beat. MARS MISSION (1) settled well back then found the line nicely to finish fourth, beaten 2.75 lengths, over this journey at Canterbury last time out. Should be doing best work late. BILL THE BOXER (2) failed to threaten when fresh from a lay-off last time out, beaten 6 lengths into 11th over 6f at Caulfield. Drawn to stalk the leaders. One to consider. FAMOUS PEDRILLE (6) didn't make an impact at his last run before going for a lay-off on December 16 finishing tenth and beaten 11 lengths over 7f at Randwick. Looks one of the genuine hopes in the race.
