Group 1 placegetter TANNHAUSER (1) doesn't win out of turn but was in the finish last time when beaten 0.9 lengths into second over 1m in the G3 Carbine Club Stakes at this track. Backmarker who keeps coming. Best form puts him right in this. Group 2 placegetter SALTCOATS (3) turned in a sound effort last time but found a couple better in the G2 Tulloch Stakes at Rosehill over 1m2f, beaten one length. Should be at his peak now. Yet to break through this time in but hasn't been far away, with two placings to his name. One of the main contenders. Group 2 placegetter NOISY BOY (2) lines up on the back of a 9 length eighth over 1m4f at this track. Must be respected.
