Has the talent to put the recent run of form behind him. CORPSMAN (4) finished out of the money two starts back then she was always well out of her ground and was beaten 0.7 lengths when fifth over 6½f at Scone three weeks ago. Finds a nice race and can play a significant role. BRAVE MAX (7) turned in a modest performance when tenth last time out over 6f87yards at Muswellbrook, beaten 10 lengths. That followed a win at Narromine at the previous outing. Nicely placed to return to winning form. LORD PROTECTOR (1) broke his maiden last start over 4¾f at Moree when resuming, scoring by 0.9 lengths. Re-unites with Shannen Llewellyn who was on board last start. Must be respected now that the penny has dropped.
