DON QUIXOTE (10) met with solid support last start over 1m1 1/2f at Armidale when third, beaten 2 lengths. Worth another chance. RING AHOY (1) gave away a considerable start over 1m at Coonamble last time before hitting the line well to finish fifth. Sure to be tough to hold out. ANOTHER GIFT (11) scored two runs back then was well in commission last time but could only manage to finish fifth over 1m1f at Wauchope. Meets a stronger field but he is up to the task. ANCIENT EGYPT (5) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1m at Coonamble, beaten 6 lengths into sixth. Nicely placed to find some form.
