MISS BELGIUM (5) finished third at Gundagai two runs back but was less effective last time over 5f87yards at Canberra Acton, finishing 5.5 lengths back in sixth. Finds a tougher race but she has the ability to test this field. MURRINGO GAP (12) led from a wide gate last time over 6½f at Wagga but felt the pinch and faded out of it. Backmarker who keeps coming. Will be tough to stop. I'M BRAZILIAN (7) finished 3.2 lengths back from the winner last start at Tuncurry on a heavy surface and is down in weight this time. Expected to be competitive. SNIPPETY STAR (2) resumes from a lay-off of four-and-a-half months. Has filled a minor placing at both when resuming runs. Opened last prep with a second over 6f at Canberra. Bold showing expected.
