POKER PARTNER (3) has been in the placings at his last two starts, finishing second last time when he was prominent throughout over 6f at Thistledown (Dirt). Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. LOOKIN TO EXCEL (5) is yet to find the winners' list this time in work but has five placings from nine appearances this campaign, finishing 3 lengths away in third most recently over 6f at this track. Useful type who gets his chance. CHIPS LEGACY (2) displayed plenty of early toe over 6f at this track (Synthetic) last time and dug deep to score by 3 lengths. Meets some better types this time but another big run will not surprise. COLONEL POPPY (7) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 6f at this track, beaten 3.5 lengths into fifth. No surprise to see him in the frame.
