SAND AND SEA (4) had been in top form landing two consecutive wins but last start missed the frame when eighth over 1m1/2f in the G3 Ontario Matron Stakes at Woodbine. Should park just off the speed. Expecting a bold showing. CALLIE'S GRIT (1) went forward last time and battled on gamely to finish just a nose from the winner in second over 1m1/2f at Listed level at Ellis Park (Turf). Drawn to enjoy a lovely run again. Ideally placed and is sure to be there at the finish. SPARTAN QUEEN (12) finds it hard to win with just one success from 10 starts. Did a good job last start to finish second over 1m at Kentucky, beaten 0.8 lengths. Will enjoy a drop in class so she is likely to feature in the finish. Group 2 placegetter TAKE A STAND (10) is close to breaking through after two consecutive placings, the latest coming when third over 1m1/2f in stakes class at Ellis Park (Turf). Nicely placed to give this a mighty shake.
