SPY NOVEL (7) was out of the money when resuming from a lay-off last start over 1m1/4f at Parx, beaten 3.5 lengths after being in the firing line on the corner. Tackling a more suitable race so he can play a big role. INSCRUTABLE (1) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1m at this track, beaten 4.5 lengths into fifth after being prominent at the turn. Nicely placed to get the prize. MACKENZIE'S NOVVA (2) is racing very well and has two wins on end, most recently getting the prize by half a length over 7½f at Mountaineer Park (Turf). Commendable record at this trip with a win and three minor placings and is one of the contenders. SHY DA RUNNER (6) sat on the pace last start until tiring to finish fifth, beaten 11 lengths, over 1m at this circuit. Should give a bold sight.
