Unbeaten here and expected to go close. LION CLASS (6) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 2.25 lengths when fifth in a 6¼f contest at Taree nine days ago. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run this time. HEIR APPARENT (5) was returning from a break last time out and proved too classy, scoring by a long neck over 5f at this track. Fitter for that last hitout and he looms as a significant threat. CROWIE'S SHOUT (2) turned in a modest performance when ninth last time out over 6f at this track, beaten 7 lengths, after a win at this track at the previous outing. Worth plenty of thought.
