WAR WARRIOR (3) got a long way back when 9 lengths from the winner in fifth over 6f at Broome last start, a less impressive effort than his fourth at this track the run before. Nicely placed to feature in the finish. WAKAN TANKA (4) built on a nice third two starts back at this track with success as favourite over 6½f at Broome a week ago, getting home by 2.2.5 lengths. Ms Kyra Yuill scored on him last time and retains the mount. Finds a suitable race and can make it two in succession. ESPIRITO (1) was impressive last time at this track, scoring by 4.5 lengths over this trip. Should be prominent from the outset. Sure to be competitive. AL MAGICO (5) ran a better race last start, finishing 2.5 lengths away in fifth over 7f38yards at Broome. Best efforts measure up so worth another chance.
