THE GREAT HAYNES (2) stepped up in trip to 6f last time at this track (Dirt) and ran below her best, finishing 5 lengths away in fifth. Appeals back in trip this time so looks sure to feature. TAKES A VILLAGE (5) resumes. After filling a minor placing at her last appearance at ferndale (dirt) over 5f on august 25. Rates highly and makes plenty of appeal. CANAM GAL (6) turned in a strong run over this course and distance last time, settling well back then unleashing in the straight to get up for second. Expected to feature again. LA POPIS (3) was unplaced two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 5½f at this track, beaten 4 lengths into fifth. Nicely placed to find some form.
