Commendable record at this trip with a win and two minor placings and is among the leading chances. SMOOTH CHINO (5) showed good early dash and stalked the pace last start before drawing clear to score by 2 lengths over 5f at Bunbury. Takes on tougher opposition this time but is still among the leading chances. SHMOOV MOOVA (4) made it two wins on the bounce last start when he scored by 1.5 lengths over 5f at Ascot. Winning rider Chris Parnham retains the mount. Taking on a better field but he is capable of running another bold race. GOLDEN VALE (7) recorded a strong on-speed win last time by a head over this journey at Ascot. Tougher assignment this time but cannot be underestimated.
