SHAKA ZULU (5) found the line nicely last start to get up for second over 5½f at Ascot when fresh from a lay-off. Should park just off the speed. Best form puts him right in this. COMIC HERO (4) gave away a start then stormed home to win over 6f at Ascot last time out. Chris Parnham who has scored on him two times retains the mount. Likely to feature. UNCLE GERARD (12) has a moderate winning strike-rate but performed well last time at Ascot, finishing fourth and only 1.1 lengths from the winner at the end of 6f when he did his best work late. Yet to miss the placings in two starts over this course and distance. Finds a suitable race and can play a major role. DEFENDING (2) was narrowly beaten into third when second up last start at Ascot over 5½f. Should be ready to find peak form.
