TITAN RISING (1) failed to run a strong 1m1/2f last start after a close third over 1m at Balaklava the run prior. Better suited at this shorter trip so rates among the leading chances. SAZERAC (4) finished 2. 5 lengths from the winner in sixth last start over 7½f at Gawler, an improvement on her ninth at Balaklava the run before. Ideally placed and is sure to give this a mighty shake. MOORAK MISS (9) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a nice race last time out, finishing third and beaten only 1. 3 lengths over 7f at Mt Gambier. Has the class to build on that encouraging effort last start. FIGHT FOR FREEDOM (10) has not won for a long while. Last raced on October 6 when beaten 7 lengths into 11th at Gawler over 7½f. Well placed and can run a better race.
