STAR VENEZUELAN (3) is close to breaking through after two consecutive placings, the latest coming when second over 7f at Laurel (Dirt) after being in contention all the way. Beautifully placed and is sure to play a major role. LOVEUMOM (1) returned from a lay-off two-and-a-half weeks ago when she was in contention on the bend before being beaten 4.5 lengths into fourth over 6f at Parx. Strips fitter and can take care of this field. NEW BOOTS (6) finished out of the money two starts back then she was always well out of her ground and was beaten 17 lengths when seventh over 6f at Laurel a week-and-a-half ago. Finds a nice race and can find winning form. ISLAND DREAM GIRL (7) won at this track (Dirt) two starts ago but was below her best at a more recent appearance, finishing fifth over 5½f at this track (Dirt). Suitably placed so anticipating a better run this time.
