SMUGGLER'S GOLD (4) finished fourth two runs back then improved last start when he worked home well but found a couple better over 6f at Laurel, beaten 7 lengths. Faces an easier assignment so he is a big chance to get the prize. PANAGIOTIS (5) was well supported on debut last start and turned in a strong effort to finish second over 6f at this track (Dirt). Can get off the mark this time. STORMIN SAMMY (8) showed good early muster and fought on to finish third last start over 7f at Aqueduct (Dirt). Should go forward from the awkward gate. Looks well placed so expect another big run. EXPLOSIVE LOVE (6) finished 7 lengths from the winner in fourth at his most recent outing over 5½f at this track (Dirt). Should be about the money.
