EYE ON THE CANDY (4) finished third at Laurel two runs back but was less effective last time over 1m1/2f at Laurel (Dirt), finishing 12 lengths back in eighth. Will enjoy a drop in class so he is a major player. LAFITTE'S FLEET (2) missed the placings two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 1m1/2f at this track, beaten 2.25 lengths after being prominent at the corner. Has his share of talent. Hard to beat in this suitable race. FIRST DEPUTY (8) improved last start to finish third over 1m1/2f at this track. Looks well placed so expect another big run. HENRYTHETHIRD (1) is experiencing a long win drought, extended last start when seventh over 1m1/4f at this track (Dirt). Yet to miss the frame in two starts over this course and distance. Finds a suitable assignment and can get the job done.
