PIRATE (10) improved last start when second, beaten 10 lengths, over 1m at this track. Jumps from the widest stall but has the pace to overcome. Expected to give a great sight. BERNIE'S MITTS (4) faded last time to finish fifth over 5½f at Monmouth Park (Turf) after showing good early speed. Not to be underestimated.
