MELROSE (11) has not raced since her debut back on January 25 when she finished tenth over 5f in the G3 Blue Diamond Preview (Fillies) at Sandown-Lakeside. Can improve sharply and is expected to feature. ABOVE ME (2) was lining up for just the second time last start when fifth over 5½f at Wodonga, beaten 3 lengths. Should camp just off the leaders. Looks well placed and is worth another chance. BILLIE (9) produced a fair effort on debut last time out when 5 lengths from the winner in eighth at Sandown-Hillside over 5f. Should do better this time around. CHEEKY CONTIKI (10) is a nicely bred three-year-old filly making her first appearance at the races. By Zousain from Backpacker Express who has produced a winner at stakes level. Filled a minor placing in her most recent trial at Flemington. Importantly has a nice gate and looks certain to be competitive.
