AUTO MAX (2) finished third just six days ago over 6f at Bairnsdale. On the quick back-up over more ground. Good effort last start and should be in the finish. MR CRAFTY (6) was fair on debut last time out when fifth over 5½f at this track. Should appreciate the extra ground. Not to be discounted. DEVOUT RULER (3) debuted four weeks ago when he finished ninth over 6f at Bairnsdale, beaten 5 lengths. Can improve sharply.
