THURMOND (6) is fresh from a lay-off of nine months and did hit the frame when last resuming at Dundalk All Weather over 1m2 1/2f. In a different yard now. Key runner while fresh. CAPTAIN CAT (1) is yet to break through after three career starts. Managed to fill a minor placing at Sale two starts back when resuming before finishing fourth over 7½f at Mornington last time. Cannot be left out of calculations. BRING FORTH (7) wound up strongly last time out to finish 1.3 lengths adrift in second over 7f at this track when fresh from a break. Tough to stop again. SHOT AT THE NIGHT (5) finished 6 lengths from the winner in seventh at his most recent outing over 7f at Sale. Likely to be thereabouts.
