LIFE IS HARD (1) was out of the money when resuming from a lay-off last start over 1m at this track, beaten 10 lengths. Fitter so expect a better run this time. COST BASIS (3) did a great job to score by 1.75 lengths over this course and distance last start to maintain his good form of late. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot repeat the dose. FAMILY TRADITION (6) was allowed to drift back from an outside draw last time but found the line strongly to finish sixth, beaten 5 lengths, over 6f at this track (Dirt). Solid top-three hope.
