CREATIVE MINISTER (8) ran below his best last start when beaten 16 lengths into tenth from a wide draw over this course and distance. Takes on much easier opposition this time. Expected to be in the finish. MENDELSSOHNS MARCH (1) didn't make an impact at his last run before going for a lay-off on 14/12/2024, finishing seventh and beaten 4.5 lengths over 1m at Turfway Park (Synthetic). Capable of playing a major role. DOUBLE BARREL (2) missed the placings two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 1m at this track, beaten only half a length after being in contention on the corner. Meets a stronger field but he is good enough to take this out. DRIP D'ORO (3) fought on for second last start over 6½f at Delta Downs (Dirt), beaten 0.8 lengths to add to some fine recent form. Has his share of ability. Hard to beat in this suitable race.
