BISHOPS BAY (6) went forward last start over 1m1/2f at this track (Dirt) and held on well for second, beaten a nose. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. MACKMAN (2) has recorded three minor placings from four runs this campaign. Continued the trend last start when runner-up over 1m1/2f at this track (Dirt) after he was in the firing line all the way. Must be included on the strength of that form. WOODCOURT (9) missed the placings two starts back then ran a better race and finished 3.5 lengths away in fourth last time out over 1m1/2f at this track after being in the firing line on the bend. Finds a nice race and can figure in the finish. Suitably placed so can turn things around.
