BRIGHT LEAF (7) is back at the races for the first time since October 16. Scored over 1m at Santa Anita at the start of last prep. Has found the right race. ETHEREAL ROAD (6) improved sharply on his fourth two starts back at Churchill Downs (Dirt) with success over 1m1/2f at Churchill Downs (Dirt) two weeks ago, getting home by 8 lengths after being prominent at the corner. Going up a level this time but he can go back-to-back. BLACK APPLE (8) settled well back then made a little ground and finished 5 lengths away in fifth last time out over 6f at this track when resuming from a lay-off. Tackles a longer journey this time. Can play a big role. MIDNIGHT CHANNEL (2) had been in top form scoring two wins on end prior to missing the frame last time out at Churchill Downs (Dirt). Coming back in journey.
