PREACHER'S KID (6) is back after a break of eight months. At the last run before the layoff he finished fourth over 6f at this track (Dirt). Looks the one to beat. RERUN (14) finished third, beaten 3 lengths, when resuming from a lay-off last start over 6f at this track (Dirt) after he was in the firing line on the turn. Nicely placed to take this out. BRADFORD (2) resumes from a lay-off of eight months. Could only manage to finish sixth at the latest run over 1m at this track (Dirt). Good effort to launch last prep when in the money at Churchill Downs over 1m. Rates highly on best figures and should be right in this. STATLER (3) is a nine-start maiden who returned last time and finished eighth at this track (Dirt) over 6f, beaten 16 lengths. Will derive great benefit from that outing and deserves consideration.
