ETHEREAL ROAD (7) turned things around last start and landed the prize by 8 lengths after being in the firing line on the turn over 1m1/2f at Churchill Downs (Dirt). Must raise the bar but another win beckons. EMPIRE BUILDER (4) was returning from a break last time out and proved too classy, scoring by 0.3 lengths over 1m1/2f at this track (Dirt). OSBOURNE (5) was in contention on the turn and finished third last time over 6½f at Churchill Downs (Dirt), beaten 3 lengths. Suitably placed so anticipating a big run again. DENINGTON (8) drifted back when resuming last start over 1m1/2f at Listed level at Zia Park (Dirt) and failed to threaten, beaten 14 lengths into fifth. Well placed in this easier race. Must be respected.
