GUN PILOT (5) was an effortless winner last time over 6f at this track (Dirt), scoring by 3.5 lengths. Form this track is hard to knock with two wins from five starts. Expected to be in the finish. Group 3 placegetter CHASING TIME (2) missed the placings two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 6f at this track, beaten 2 lengths. Stepping up a level this time but on his best form he is right in contention. KAVOD (4) really dug deep to salute by half a length three runs back at Fairgrounds (Dirt) before filling a minor placing at his last two starts. Form over this course and distance is solid with a win and three minor placings from five starts. One of the main contenders. Group 3 placegetter EDGE TO EDGE (9) was prominent at the corner and finished third last start over 6f at this track (Dirt), beaten 0.4 lengths. Meeting a tougher field but on his best form he is right in contention.
