Expected to measure up again. SINGING GROOM (2) recorded a gutsy maiden victory last time out over 1m1/2f at this track (Dirt), scoring by 0.1 lengths. Winning rider Walter De La Cruz stays aboard and he is one of the main chances. COLONEL BARTON (9) was safely held when fourth last time out over 6f at this track, beaten 7 lengths after being prominent at the corner. That followed a win at this track at the previous outing. Suitably placed so anticipating a better run this time. Finds a nice race and can bounce back.
